When Hashem cries too is a touching story about a family who have suffered a stillborn and how the young daughter processes and grieves. Loss is always difficult to talk about as adults and one can feel uncomfortable speaking about it to children.
Children need to grieve and process too. This book cannot take away the loss or pain but it can serve as an accompaniment for the journey.
Hashem Cries Too eBook Rachel Tal CarrieAnn Truitt
I saw this book when my friend brought it to my house and showed it to me. It's a book written for religious Jewish families who have had the deep loss of a stillborn. This book can give comfort to families and help to explain to children in a way that maybe will help them feel like they are not alone. The story is not preachy; it doesn't tell people how to feel. It's told from a child's point of view. The illustrations are sweet and so is the voice of the child. When I wanted to have a look at it on the "Look Inside" feature, not much of the book showed up. If that happens to you, you can click on "surprise me" to see more.If you're here, perhaps you've had such a loss. May you find comfort and healing on the journey. Many blessings. <3

Hashem Cries Too eBook Rachel Tal CarrieAnn Truitt Reviews
This book "Hashem cries too", is tender, honest and supportive.........a message of strength reaches out to both children and adults, each in their own way.
Our first grandchild was still born. Out of their pain, our daughter Rachel and her husband, Ariel found solace in helping others who had gone through similar grief and formed an outreach and support group for parents. Now she has written a book to help children of families who lose a child at birth, called "Hashem cries too." Our daughter-in-law, CarrieAnn Truitt, provided the beautiful illustrations. A true work of art from the heart.
